FUNDRAISING – Supporting and leading Fundraising activities and events.
RESEARCH AND CATALOGUING – Supporting impact studies and historical evidence.
MARKETING AND PUBLICITY – Helping to maintain online marketing.
COMMUNITY EVENTS – Promoting services and engaging with the community.
TRUSTEE – Being responsible for the direction and governance of the organisation.
Past volunteers have gone on to gain paid work within the organisation, qualify as social workers, therapists and within the education system, some have even gone on to set up their own projects and services:
Samantha joined NOPA as a volunteer administrator. Whilst volunteering she gained NVQ level 2 Business Administration.
Samantha now works in NHS.
Shereen started volunteering at 15 after taking part in the Performing Arts activities. She went on to get a Masters Degree in Drama Therapy, returning to NOPA to volunteer her services for two years. She went on to set up her own community business.

2017 S was a placement from Roehampton university, where she finished her placement as psychotherapist and went on to set up her own business.
2018 J placement student from Roehampton University finished her placement and became a member of staff. She worked as a Psychotherapist for two years. She has now moved on to set up her own counselling business.
