Volunteer – Fundraising

Fundraising –Supporting and leading Fundraising activities and events

The Role involves:
As an Fundraising Volunteer for NOPA you will be supported and supervised by our Business and Fundraising Manager who will provide you with work to complete such as

  • Contacting people by phone or attending events to promote our donor schemes.
  • Following up donor applications – sending thank you letters and registration forms.
  • Identifying fundraising opportunities – ie fun runs and sponsored events.
  • Developing new opportunities to raise money for the organisation
  • Experience/Skills required.
  • Simple bookkeeping tasks – invoicing, expenses, reconciliations.

Experience/Skills required

  • We are looking for volunteers who may have extensive experience and have some spare time as well as those people who want to develop their skills and confidence and make connections to increase our income. 
  • Literacy and Basic ICT skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm and confidence will help with this role

Requirements
We will provide a full induction and expect you to comply with Policies and Procedures. You may be able to work from home, but we will meet as a team once a month to set targets and share ideas and updates.
